Gemma Blackmore

Project Worker

I joined Barnardos HYPE in February 2020. Previously I was a secondary school teacher of Health and Social Care and Child Development at GCSE and A Level along with an additional role as Young Carers Champion. I have a passion for allowing young people to have a voice and influencing change within health services to make them more young person friendly.

Natasha Daniel

Project Worker

My name is Tash and I am one of the Senior Project Workers for HYPE Plymouth.

I joined HYPE in July 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic which weirdly has created many positive outcomes for me both personally and professionally. Having previously worked in CAMHS and education, HYPE gives me the opportunity to work alongside families and young people to voice their opinions as well as influence change. Within HYPE we strive to be innovative, creative, and sensitive but most of all we like to give the individual young people like you a feeling of empowerment. If you’re like me and enjoy variety and versatility as well as fun then this is the place to be!

Anthony Hll

Project Manager

I am Anthony Hill, the Plymouth HYPE and Bristol HYPE service manager. I joined Barnardos in 1996 in a leaving care service in Gloucestershire and through listening to young people and seeing the different they can make to services became passionate about participation practice.

Rhiannon Kupperblatt-Wilson

Project Admin

My name is Rhi and I am the project admin for the Plymouth HYPE team. I graduated Plymouth University in 2019 after studying Education Studies. My goal was to go on to be a teacher after studying, but my time at University showed me the importance of services outside of Education and gave me a passion for supporting and helping children and young people. I joined the HYPE team in May 2020 and am loving being involved in such an empowering service for young people!
